| The price of petrol will drop by 15c to 18c a litre on Wednesday next week, the Energy Department said today. The price of 93 ULP and LRP will decrease by 15c a litre while 95 ULP and LRP will drop by 18c a litre in retail price. The wholesale price of diesel with a 0.05 percent sulphur content would drop by 15c a litre, while diesel with a 0.005 percent sulphur content would decrease in price by 16c a litre. The wholesale price of illuminating paraffin would decline by 12c a litre, while the single maximum national retail price for illuminating paraffin would drop by 16c a litre. A litre of petrol 95 ULP in Gauteng would now cost R8.27. |
